hmmm...and i thought they said that it would be released in 2008? How's that 2 years away?

Anyway, not really that pumped bc i doubt they'll be able to recreate the mystique and excitement that came with GW1. Unfortunatley 2 years into the game it got nerf'd to death and became a totally different game than at the beginning. Anyway, the sequal is never better than the original IMO. So i'm actually not really looking forward to the disappointment of GW2. It's just time to find a new game all together.

i cant wait for gw2, cant wait to see how they advance the gameplay, the gfx, cant wait to play a charr, a tengu when they release the canthan campaign/expansion, hopefully an assasin and a ritualist again etc

ya i feel theyre biased sometimes too, too certain genres and even more worryingly certain developers...i prefer gametrailer reviews, they always seem more objective with less bs

I'm excited because of what could be, but I'm still going to wait 4 or 5 months after release and read here before I decide on whether or not to get caught up in GW2. Not that I'm not excited, so much as that things I've heard about it make it real easy to wait and hear you guys say if it's true or not.

Why are you NOT pumped about gw1 would be the question now, but heck that has been answered so many times no one bothers with another thread like it.

Two years is a long time.....maybe when it gets to 'beta set to be released next month' I will start getting on the pumped bandwagon.

Hyper I am guessing you have read the PCgamer article about GW2? I really doubt it will be more destroyed because of adelbern's last attempt at defending Ascalon.

GW was really something new, original and cool when it was out... I guess people expect ANet to produce something new, original and cool once again.

As for me I'm not pumped up. From what ANet said about GW2 I assumed I probably would hate it. Atm my position is something like that: "I don't care 1 bit until the trial starts"

A new game means new exploration of everything.
Hopefully it will be different enough that when you ask about a skill or weapon, you won't get a dozen people saying it sucks....because nobody knows yet.

I'm looking 4wards to a more WoWish experience in that - it's free roaming, it will be based more around solo play when you are leveling and the level cap disapearing to greater heights! I also how that they make the weapon range large with a lot higher maximum dmg and so on
